2011 WPA World Wheelchair 9-Ball Championship; Kielce, Poland - 31.08-4.09.2011

At the request of Ian Anderson, WPA President, I am forwarding the attached information regarding the 2011 WPA World 9-Ball Championship for Wheelchair Athletes that is scheduled to be held at the Hotel Lysogory in Kielce, Poland on August 31 – September 4, 2011.   

According the information provided, the tournament will be limited to 26 players and players slots will be allocated to the WPA federations by the WPA.  I have no information at this time regarding how many slots any particular federation will receive.  If you are interested in competing in this event, please contact your country’s WPA federation representative. 

As more information becomes available, I will pass it on to you.  Free free to pass this information on to other interested wheelchair players.

I forgot to mention that the WPA is seeking prompt feedback from players who may be interested in competing in this event.  This will help the WPA with allocation of the available 26 players slots for this event. If you or a player you know is interested in completing, please send me a note with the player’s name and country of residence so I can pass the information along to the WPA.
